Watching. Can you see Him?

I have a dear friend who had surgery last weekend.

So, she gives me flowers?

Not only did she endure surgery, she suffers with chronic migraines & nausea, and painful rheumatoid arthritis.
She sends me flowers.

She is my teacher, letting God speak to me through her suffering. Can I slow down long enough to hear it? Can I see the grace extended to me through her suffering? I can see Jesus, yes I can, when I slow down to watch for Him...through her flowers.

I am healthy, I am busy. My suffering friend, my son, the elderly woman...they are His good gifts to me. They cause me to stop in my tracks, to see Him.
Did the soldiers see, when they chose those nails so long ago? Were they too busy to see Him? Son of God, born to die. Did they know the nails were for their Lord?

Three most precious nails.

Did they see, as they grasped the nails? For the One who called all things into existence.

Three most precious nails.

To hold the One who cannot be held. Did they see?

"O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice;
in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch." Psalm 5:3
