Ugly Hutch Update #562 and News of a Little Expansion
Please pardon the long pause in blog posts. Our family has had our fair share of personal challenges and on a much more shallow level, quite frankly, it's HOT here in the desert!! I am deluding myself with the latter as to why I have been such a slacker. Either way, it's time to get back into the swing of things.
If you've read my blog for some time, you may remember the ugly hutch story (hopefully you have forgotten). Well my dear, dear ugly hutch is finally getting the much needed transformtion! Slow as it has been, I am making progress!!
(I think my camera lens needs a good swipe and swoosh!)
I learned how to transfer delicious graphics by hand from the lovely proprietor, Miss Patty, at Green Table Gifts. Oh what fun I will have with this!! Yeeeow.
The top half of my hutch...waiting to be adorned with future displays of treasures...
...aaaaand a sneak peek of the bottom half nearing the final stretch of waxing!
Should be ready just in time for my addition of another 100 square feet in Village Antiques this September!Ta~da and a big Woot! Woot!! Won't my husband be so glad on that day when the inventory so lavishly awaiting placement leaves the corridors of our home!?! He is a patient man, I tell you, patient!
And speaking of patience (or lack thereof), I'm already leaping ahead in my mind to October. I just hate when people do that, and here I am. A pure hypocrite.
Looking forward to this coming Fall!! Things could get a little spooky around here ;o).
