So what is all this "joy" about anyway?
Do you feel as though your sins have separated you from God? Well, truthfully they have. Because He is holy. And we are not. I just like to get straight to the point on these things.
Job knew it in his soul as well. Here is despair, before Calvary, the promised Savior's triumph: "There is no arbiter between us, who might lay his hand on us both. Let him take his rod away from me, and let not dread of him terrify me. Then I would speak without fear of him, for I am not so in myself." Job 9:33~35
Now, blessed joy beyond compare: "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ who gave himself as a ransom for all." 1 Timothy 2:5~6a
He has made a way. Precious and terrible way. We chose separation. He has brought us to Himself. By Himself.
Dear Christian and non~Christian alike: Get yourself to Him, straight away. Blessed forgiveness. Blessed peace. It's the only way. To the Mediator, at once!
There is waiting, a fountain of joy beyond all compare. Ever flowing. Never ceasing. Joy. Joy. Joy.
