Trunk'in it. 1800's style.
Dusting off this sweet ol' trunk today. Hate to part, but I must.
Love, love the vintage hardware.
Wood. Metal. Glorious Rust. These are a few of my favorite things!
Wouldn't this make a wonderful coffee table? Too big for my little home, but would look lovely in yours now wouldn't it??
Even has the original key! Sweetness! Imprinted on lock is "Eagle Lock Co., Terryville, Conn.".
Carefully dusting her off. No, I wasn't painting it. Who would mess with this wonderful green patina?
The Beagle stays with me. I'm just throwing in her picture cause' she's cute. And adorable. And patient with me as I do my crazy projects.
Moving on now...there's a bit of water damage on the left side.
Has the inside cover.
And top shelf/drawer. Yes, she's old.
Here's the right side water damage. Good thing rust is in style (did I mention that I love rust?)
Now the right side. Pardon the shadows, it's getting late.
Yup, she's a beaut. Measures 3 feet in length, 1 feet, 9 inches across and 13 inches in height. And there she is. Currently awaiting placement in a most appreciative home.
