Grateful for suffering? Yes, it can happen.
Woke up this morning with an excitement about going to church. I love my church peeps, I really do. And meeting together with them to worship God? It's the icing on the week long cake.
Suffering makes you appreciate that. Because I realized how much my church means to me in a much deeper and meaningful way.
Please don't think of me as a morbid person (well, if you do...all is well), I'm just pondering this suffering thing again. And I'm growing fond of it a bit.
Yes, I'm serious.
Even grateful, truly grateful.
“Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”
― C.S. Lewis
