How I Do Love Thee, Dearest old Wood

*happy sigh*, thanks to another heaven sent vintage pick. An old antique mail sorter from a post office.
Before. I thought this dear thing needed a good staining.
But after I began to clean it and give it a good drink of lemon oil...
...the grain and old worn lines in the slots from hundreds of letters reluctantly appeared.
So I take photos and momentarily enjoy its beauty...
...now, if I could only sell this with one stipulation: YOU MAY NOT USE IT FOR YOUR CHILDREN'S SHOE STORAGE!

*happy sigh*

Excellent work, Deborah! I love it as well. Just think of all of that bending and stretching to put the mail in those slots--good workout piece :).
