Repurposing

Spent this past weekend with my parents at their lovely home in the mountains. I always enjoy my time with them and my mother has a knack for creating a refreshing and enchanted atmosphere in her home. I have yet to attain, or even dream, of aspiring to this level of artful hospitality. So for now, I simply enjoy her gifting.

And snap photographs. When she isn't looking.

Case in point. This closet is now donning her card making office. She repurposed an antique printer's tray to house her stamps that she uses to create one of a kind cards for family and friends. My father removed a few of the slats so she could fit her larger stamps in the little nooks. You can find a few of her card creations at MY nook in Mesa at Village Antiques.

More to come about my mother's home in future posts (yes mom, I snapped more pics)...
...speaking of repurposing

Great job all around--Mom, Dad, Deb. I enjoy seeing the creative side of our family/their work! And I so love receiving Mom's masterpieces.
